It is advisable that if your dog is a mud lover/swimmer/pulls on the lead or likes to play fight a lot I would advise you to choose a plastic buckle instead of the metal one.
Each Collar comes with a 3 month warranty which starts from the date of purchase, this only includes workmanship and hardwear, any issues outside this date are not covered.
 All of my collars/leads have a nylon core making them very strong, the only exception is my Extra Small sizes which have a cotton lining, all collars and leads are double sewn with nylon thread, I use an Alu Max metal buckle as a standard rule with my Harris Tweed which are engineered in Germany and are one of the main leading brands available. Each collar is then lined with a complimentary fabric and is finished off with my very stylish "Cornish Dog Wear" label and of course it wouldn't be a Harris Tweed Collar without the Harris Tweed Label, I think you'll agree these are just stunning!
 As a rule of thumb your pet has to by law wear a collar when out and about with identity tags, but if you find your dog pulls when on the lead I therefore advice you to ALWAYS use a harnesses as over time your dogs neck ligaments will be damaged and this is extremely uncomfortable for your pet.
 Care instructions:
 Should your four legged friend like swimming at our beautiful beaches/rivers/puddles it would be advisable to have a plastic buckle fitted and also make sure all wash off all metal work thoroughly once they've finished and leave to naturally dry, returns or refunds wont be valid if your buckle/hard wear has rusted due to not being looked after.
 
Over time your Harris Tweed Collar may become fuzzy, if this happens just run a 2 blade razor over the collar gently to remove any fuzz, it should then come up like new.
 Harris Tweed naturally repels water and dirt so a quick brush off is all it should need and can be left to air dry over night.
 If for any reason you have a mud lover like me! then pop it in a sock on a quick low heat wash and leave to air dry over night.
 After each walk please inspect your collar and lead for any damage.
 These types of buckles have a high breaking load but can come undone if not correctly fastened or if your dog likes play fighting also for instance i.e. if hair is caught in the collar, please make sure when you fasten your collar that the male end of the buckle is fully engaged with the female end.
